Vine leaves strengthen and tone the vein walls thus increasing the venous return from the legs to the heart. The marc of grapes, concentrating the active ingredients into the skin and seeds of grapes.The skin contains a polyphenol called resveratrol known for its protective effects on blood vessels. The OPC (Oligomeric Pro Cyanidoliques) present in the seeds have a soothing and help reduce swelling. Witch Hazel leaves contain many flavoïdes and astringent tannins.
